Being prime focus, the organization has taken up survival steps in bringing this first Pahari School of miniature arts to the central stage. When organization started its journey there were only few names of artists who were doing paintings in a limited way, at present there is a long list who are contributing in reviving this art. This has been the result of multi prolonged strategy adapted by the organization.
This training centre was started way back in 1995 in a traditional manner (Guru – Shishya Parampara). Students of different age group are given free of cost training and good learners are given scholarships also. Till date hundred of learners joined the centre and tens of them are now good painters.
To preserve the old paintings and exhibit the works of new painters a gallery has been established at Basohli Painting training centre behind Police Station and near the residential quarter of Tehsildar Basohli. In the gallery other important craft items, manuscripts etc are also placed, they are briefing cultural and social history of Basohli. Works of modern day Basohli artists are also displayed in addition to the replica of old famous works. Bid paintings collected from more than century old manuscripts are also exhibited.
